Operator and acceptance
MarginGauge is operated by Dong Yiming (董一鸣), an individual based in Tianjin, China. By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions may be sent to [email protected].
Service scope
MarginGauge provides calculators and educational content for supported marketplace scenarios. Results depend on user inputs, selected assumptions, fee catalog versions, and disclosed product conventions. The service does not promise to reproduce a marketplace statement, payout, tax return, or accounting record.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for checking inputs, reviewing the calculation breakdown, confirming marketplace eligibility, and validating decisions against current marketplace documents and professional advice where appropriate. You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use automated requests in a way that disrupts the service.
Availability and changes
Features, supported scenarios, source evidence, and fee catalogs may change. MarginGauge may correct errors, withdraw unsupported rules, restrict access, or suspend the service. Historical results are not silently recalculated.
Intellectual property
MarginGauge's original software, presentation, and written methodology are protected by applicable law. Marketplace names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. No affiliation or endorsement is implied.
No professional advice
The service is general informational software, not accounting, tax, legal, financial, or investment advice. You remain responsible for business decisions and for consulting qualified professionals where appropriate.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Official marketplace policies and your actual account records control when they differ from an estimate.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from use of or reliance on the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes to these terms
Material changes will be reflected here with a new last-updated date. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from their stated effective date.
