Who operates MarginGauge
MarginGauge is operated by Dong Yiming (董一鸣), an individual based in Tianjin, China. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to [email protected].
Calculator data
Amounts and order assumptions entered into the calculator are processed locally in your browser. MarginGauge does not send those values to its server, Cloudflare Web Analytics, advertising services, or analytics event payloads. Do not enter customer names, addresses, order IDs, or credentials.
Cloudflare services
MarginGauge uses Cloudflare Pages to deliver the site and Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure aggregate traffic. These services may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, referring page, requested URL, and request timing for delivery, security, and aggregate measurement. MarginGauge does not add calculator fields or financial amounts to analytics events. Cloudflare processes this information under its own policies and service settings.
Accounts, storage, and advertising
MarginGauge does not offer user accounts or connect to the Etsy API. This release does not use localStorage or sessionStorage for calculator inputs, and entries are cleared on refresh. It does not include AdSense, GA4, advertising cookies, or a publisher ID.
Information you send
If you email the operator, the message, email address, and any information you include are used to answer your request, investigate an issue, and retain necessary correspondence. Do not send marketplace credentials or customer personal information. Messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes or to meet applicable obligations.
Your choices and rights
You may use browser controls to limit network requests. Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information, including access, correction, deletion, or objection. Send requests to [email protected]; identity verification may be required before a request is completed.
Changes
Material changes will be reflected here with a new last-updated date. Hosting, analytics, advertising, storage, or account changes require a privacy review before release.
